How do I open clipboard history?
Press Command+Shift+V (default hotkey). You can change this in Settings.
pstr asks for Accessibility permissions. Is this safe?
Yes. pstr uses Accessibility permissions only to simulate Command+V for the auto-paste feature. No data is collected or transmitted. You can grant this in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
How do I change the hotkey?
Click the pstr icon in the menu bar, select "Settings...", then click the shortcut key field and press your desired key combination.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
The free version stores up to 5 clipboard items. Upgrading to Pro (one-time purchase) allows you to store up to 2,000 items and customize the history limit.
How do I restore my purchase on a new Mac?
Open Settings and click "Restore Purchase". Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Where is my clipboard data stored?
All clipboard data is stored locally on your Mac using UserDefaults. Nothing is sent to any server.
Can I pin items so they are not deleted?
Yes. Right-click or use the pin icon on any item to pin it. Pinned items are always shown at the top and are preserved when history is cleared.
